FBReader,
short for Fiction Book Reader is a multilingual, cross-platform (Android, BlackBerry, FreeBSD, Linux, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Tizen) e-book reader by the creators of Favorite Book Reader.
Initially open-source software written (in C++) by Nikolay Pultsin in 2005, the app supported Sharp Zaurus - a PDA - and subsequently a range of other devices. The tool became closed-source in 2015 and was split into free and premium versions on Android for additional features at a cost.
